Demolition Work Begin May 11

Outlier Construction met with the Ashland Parks Foundation representatives and Ashland Parks Manager Kevin Caldwell on 5/4/26 to review the starting construction time-line on the Butler Perozzi Fountain Replacement.
Construction fencing was placed around the perimeter of the fountain work site on May 4 and a construction office trailer and dumpster will be on site later this week. The demolition work that was scheduled to start on May 18 has been moved up a week and will start on May 11.
Construction signs will be posted on both the pedestrian paths and on Winburn Way in the vicinity of the construction zone.
We do not expect there to be any unnecessary closures to Winburn Way. The demolition work may involve large trucks and flaggers when loading out the excavated material.
We ask that the public steer clear of the construction area, if at all possible, but we do not expect any major traffic delays around the construction site either on Winburn Way or Granite Street.
Please reach out to the Ashland Parks Foundation for any additional information. We will continue to keep the city updated as to any major activities that are scheduled at the construction site.
We are excited that this project is off to a timely start and look we forward to completion of the project this fall.
Thank you,
